bought policy in 2005 for cancer family plan. Wife was diagosed with cancer in 2015.

Diagnosis payment declined because of prior cancer in 2002. Put in claims for chemotherapy should be covered. Declined told me needed along with chemo bills I needed to send in the physicians notes from the visit when the chemo was ordered. Declined was told the dates on physician notes and chemo did not match.

Dr sent note that office visits are before or after chemo treatments not on the same day. Payment declined was told the chemical name of the chemo was not on the bill. Got new statements from the hospital with the name of the chemo.

Payment declined called customer service again was put through to an “ auditor” who said we don’t have a record of the amounts of chemo given the bill do not show amount payment declined. After paying for this insurance for13 years and two years of metastatic cancer treatments still no payment.
