We have been paying $56.60 per month for the last 7 years for a Dental plan through payroll deduction, and have never filed for a claim. Total premiums paid of $4754.40.

Aflac has been kind to send us a yearly reminder that we have wellness benefits available for our: Accident, Hospital and Sickness plans with which we have taken action, however, we have NEVER received “reminders” for the dental plan. Since life gets busy, and the monthly payroll statements do not indicate the specific plans, we totally forgot that we had the plan.

While I realize that they will most likely say, "you signed up for it, so it's your responsibility to use the plan", it just seems like they want you to forget you have it, continue to pay premiums and they pay $0 claims. Not happy.

Reason of review: No reminders.

Monetary Loss: $4754.

Preferred solution: Full refund.

You get one yearly cleaning I feel like it would be easy to remember to file it. In addition this would only be $600 you would make for those 7 years if it pays that much. The only other thing you would be able would be Dr appointments and those are about $25
