I don't have Aflac insurance. My complaint is their incessant harassment and spamming of my e-mail to work for their company. I posted my resume about a year ago for a computer programming position on a local job searching website (and once I found a job, I took it down), and since then I've been slammed with e-mails, phone calls, and voicemails from their company telling me they have a position available for me as a salesperson.

I have called back and replied to e-mails telling them I'm not interested. Then I told them to remove me from their mailing lists because I keep getting offers.

I tried calling back a last time because I got yet another voicemail, almost one year after I initially posted my resume, telling the person as nicely as I could that at this point I feel harassed, and would really appreciate it if they would stop all further contact with me.

The person I spoke to laughed and said he knows I need this job, and that I should be grateful that he even wants me. WHAT? Baffled, I told him that I have a fantastic career in computer programming and would NEVER need a job at Aflac! He then HUNG UP ON ME!

Seriously Aflac - go find people that actually need jobs and please leave me alone! I don't know how else to tell you no - but seriously NO I'M NOT INTERESTED.

Same issue. It's insane constantly telling them we are not interested and turning them down.

The guy who calls is very rude and now has various other people calling from different numbers. WE WILL NEVER WORK WITH AFLAC

As my manager at AFLAC, Khalef, along with Ben Klinger, stole my accounts and those of my associates by having us do all the work and then assigning the accounts to themselves. The only ones we could keep were 1-3 person accounts, which were more trouble than they were worth, given potential chargebacks due to canceled policies.

Khalef and Klinger were callous thieves and unprofessional who hired agents under false pretenses, used them for their own personal enrichment, stole their accounts. This pattern went all the way up the regional and national level. If you questioned it, they would point to the contract you sign that says any account can be assigned to someone else for any reason. Based upon that, if you find a large, lucrative account, they will steal it just because they can and because AFLAC corporate backs them.

Contest it and you will be fired and be offered arbitration. These people engage in numerous, flagrant violations of insurance law.

It appears Pete Khalaf is now a real estate agent! LMAO

I have the same problem with these totally incompetent people. I lived in Washington, DC and they essentially harassed me one by one requesting me to take a training and pass an exam.

Easily, four individuals over a four month period. The Regional Coordinator of the Rockivlle, MD office is married to the Vice President of the same office. Pete Khalaf and Holly Khalaf. When thy can't reach me, they have at least three more people trying g get the same thing from me.

Over and over I report their emails into "Junk" with a block sender notification. I move back to PA, and I've now had at least three people email me about pursuing a lucrative career with their company.

These people are totally corrupt given nobody accepts their insurance. I now report all emails into Spam with an option to report them as Phishing.

This is still going on today, as a former marketer we were sued for using the same tactics. I have always politely asked to be removed from their list, to be added to the do not call list and have also verbally threatened them to no avail.

I propose setting up a class action law suit and shut this practice down. I actually cancelled my aflac insurance due to these calls, I suggest you all do the same.

Lawyers please post a class action law suit, we will all join in.

I too have posted my resume as a SQL Developer and have gotten several emails from Aflac for sales positions. What makes them think an IT person would be dumb enough to get into sales is beyond me. :roll

Aflac please stop contacting me!!! I DON'T want to work for your pyramid company.

There are a lot of high school dropouts please go and find them. WE SHOULD ALL SUE AFLAC!!

Guest

All - thanks for your comments about aggressive recruitment tactics by AFLAC personnel (I was contacted by two different AFLAC recruiters in separate nearby areas on the same day). Figured I'd check online to see what the story with AFLAC is, and you've confirmed what I thought about carelessly posting my resume (and contact info) on certain job sites.

When you post resumes and visit certain websites that require your email, that info is sold to many different companies.

Be careful what and where you post.

You should be thankful, instead of complaining when so many people wish they had a job offer. plus if you look down you can reject the offer and they will stop mailing it.

they never make an offer, as it's a "own your business" set up. They do NOT stop calling. I am tempted to say yes, go in to their office, and just blow air horns till the cops come........

Hilarious. I just found this post after I unintentionally fell into the same trap as everyone else here on this thread. I filed a complaint with the FTC and hopefully there would be enough evidence to file a lawsuit.

*** ***. We have nothing to be thankful for.

You should be thankful that people as important as me take 5 minutes to actually write something for a worthless nobody like you. Nobody should be grateful to get a "job offer" from such a *** company. It's not a job offer. It is spam and a waste of time for people who are looking for real jobs with companies that are worth their while.

Furthermore, you can't reject the offer. If you click on the option to reject the offer, it does nothing but increases the spam from this *** company. This is not speculation. It has been tested and is proven.

Do the world a favor.

Shoot yourself in the face. If each agent picks up a gun and shoots himself/herself in the face, you can all start making this world a better place one person at a time.

I am going through the same thing and it has been going on for months. I receive about 3 to 4 emails every other day and then also receive phone calls as well. It has gone beyond harassment and wish there is something I could do about it.

Guest

I get at least 2 calls a week, unless I make even the smallest of changes to my resume. Then I'll get 7 calls in one hour, no joke.

I have never expressed interest in becoming an agent. I wish there was a way to get them to stop contacting me short of putting "Hey Aflac, don't call me!" on my resume!

Guest

I wish that there was something that could be done... I am going through the same exact thing.

THEY ARE THE WORST!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If I could sue them I would. It is unbelievable I know.

The job sites they use in Maryland are Careerbuilder and Monster. they will not stop calling you, because they refuse to keep a do not contact list.

Don't bother with Monster of Careerbuilder, as they claim it's YOUR FAULT for including your contact information. The result is, if you want to stop getting calls, take your number out of the profile and resume on both sites.

Effectively meaning, if AFLAC gets a hold of your information, you have to stop using the services of these 2 companies, because they will not help you, and could care less about the problem.

Still thinking about taking the interview one day and blowing air horns till i am dragged out of the office.
